Are domain name registrations available in Paraguay under? Com.py? Paraguay does not require the local presence of a foreign company to register a domain name. However, a local representative is required as a billing contact.

  Requirements: 

• Legal power certified by a Public Notary. 
• Domain name and extension to register. 
• Full name, address, telephone number and email address of the technical contact and an administrative contact (this contact information is the contact information of the company requesting the domain name).   
• Names and IP addresses of primary and secondary servers.
• Area or field in which the company is active.

  Observations: 

• Once registered, the domain name is valid for one year. The annuity for renewal must be paid every year. 
• It is not necessary for a domain name under "com.py" to match any trade name or registered trademark within the Patent and Trademark Office of Paraguay. 
• A third contact, which is the billing contact, must be local. Therefore, our Firm would be the billing contact. This requirement is to facilitate application and renewal payments.
